Mathematical Modelling for Microbial Community Induced Metabolic Diseases

MATOMIC aims to understand how treatment-related interventions change the structure and composition of gut bacteria among individual people. By combining metabolic modelling techniques with experimental cultivation of microbiomes of varying complexity, the project aims to design stable microbial communities for therapeutic use.
